This tool installs the wear sleeve . If installing seal & wear sleeve kit 3802820 for example, you'll need both tools. Applications include Paccar PX-6, 1989 and newer Cummins 4BT 3.9L, B Series 5.9L, ISB 5.9L 6.7L and QSB 5.9L 6.7L. This tool can be used on crankshafts with or without the alignment dowel.
- Alternative to OEM 3824500 5046.
- Used with 3824498 1338 front cover crank seal installation tool for 3937111, 3904353 and the seal from kit 3802820.
- compatible with PX-6, 1989-2016 4BT 3. 9L, B Series 5. 9L, ISB 5. 9L 6. 7L and QSB 5. 9L 6. 7L.
- Required to install the front crankshaft wear sleeve.
