Our pods are a unique 3-tiered design that creates the ideal ecosystem for a continual supply of live mealworms. Escape-proof habitat is designed to produce 150g - 300g of mealworms per tray. Recycle your fruit and vegetable waste with our mealworm pods, while providing moisture to the colony. Turn your low cost waste feed (wheat bran, oatmeal) into high-quality pet feed. Carbon filters mitigate odors. Perforated lids keep colonies well oxygenated while simplifying harvesting of frass (castings, exoskeltons) through sifting. Adult beetles are cloistered in the blue breeding tray, keeping the distinct lifecycles separated for superior performance. Expand your colony vertically up to 6 pods high for greater harvests!

Mealworms and bedding (their food) are not included.
